This week I have a couple options for your Sharing Time lesson. They're both quick to put together and include printables to make planning and prep even easier. I hope you enjoy my "Prophets and Apostles Show Us How To Serve" Service Sharing Time idea. Enjoy!
This Sunday is President Nelson's birthday, so I thought it would be fun to incorporate that into the lesson just a little bit by telling the children that today is someone's birthday. You could give a few clues and have the children guess who it might be.
Once the children guessed, you will share that President Nelson used to be a heart surgeon. That means that he would fix people's "broken hearts". Go on to share how President Nelson not only fixed people's hearts physically, but he has also fixed them spiritually by sharing the gospel and serving others. You will then explain that today they are going to be learning more about service and fixing some "broken hearts" of their own by playing a matching game.
